- Thanks for this post. The reality is that our government (via our fellow citizens) IS involved in public and our own personal health care (whether you like it or not… that’s the truth– whether through programs such as Medicare, regulations on phiceacmutaral companies (arguably not sufficiently so…), and in countless other ways…). So in my mind, taking measures to help improve health and potentially reducing future health related costs stemming from obesity and related ailments is not only a good idea for our overall public health, it is also a logical fiscal move. -- Makaila
